Personal Property
Turtle Pond Campground, LLC cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen property.
RV / Travel Trailer/ 5th Wheel / Camper rules
- We do not have and age limit because there are some great restored campers, BUT appearance of the unit will be judged by management. If your unit is not in good condition it will not be permitted in the campground.
- Your camper must maintain current state inspection and state license plates.
- No flat tires
- No broken pieces hanging off or flapping in the wind.
- No foil in the windows.
Vehicle Rules
- No parking on the road per county ordinance
- No parking or driving on the grass, if you get stuck in the mud you will be charged for tow out and landscaping.
- Speed limit 11 mph
- No vehicles may be on jacks or jack stands for more time than necessary to change a tire. Contact management for a location to work if major vehicle or RV work is necessary.
Firearms, Other Weapons and Fireworks
- It is prohibited to create any kind of disturbance using firearms, other weapons or fireworks while staying on campground property. Any member or occupant in violation of this rule must leave the campground immediately upon written request by the campground manager, a refund will not be given.
- No hunting on the property is permitted. We like our deer.
Non-Smoking Facilities
Smoking is NOT permitted within any building, deck or patio owned by Turtle Pond Campground, this includes, but is not limited to cigarettes, vaping, recreational and medical marijuana.
Minors and Children
No one under the age of 18 may reserve or solely occupy a campsite on their own. Curfew for minors is 10:00 PM. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the actions and behavior of their children.
Pets
Guests may have 2 domesticated animals as pets. No aggressive dogs. All pets are required to be under the control of their owner at all times and must be on a leash with the owner at one end of the leash and the pet at the other end (including cats). A pet must never be tied up outside of an RV and left unattended. No pets are allowed in the store, restrooms, laundry, recreation center or playground. All pets must be updated on all vaccinations and provide a copy to the office. Owners are responsible for the actions and behavior of their their pets. Noisy pets will not be allowed. Keep our park clean – pick up after your pet! There is a $50 cleanup fee charged to your account if you are found (video) not picking up after your pet.
Laundry, restroom and kitchen facility
- We want our facilities to be clean at all times. Please clean up after your self. If the facility needs attention please contact management. If we have to clean up after you there will be an appropriate charge.
- No pet bedding may be washed in our facilities. Allergies can be triggered by clothing washed after pet bedding.
Your campsite/RV site
- We want the park to appear neat and tidy. It is required of you to keep your site free of debris, clothes lines, cigarette butts and clutter. You must keep all loose items within a lidded tote (maximum 2) either by your stairs or under your RV. Sheds and carports are available for you to purchase. We will direct you to the appropriate supplier and specify the design and colors.
- A sewer hose elbow connector is required. We have them for sale in the office.
- A/C - Only RV roof top units or mini split units placed behind the RV or on top of the RV are permitted. No window units.
- Please keep the exterior of your RV clean by washing periodically or contacting Texas RV Service to provide cleaning services.
Trees, shrubs and other landscaping
- No cutting, trimming or pruning of trees and other landscaping. If you notice something that needs attention, please notify park staff.
- Spring brings blackberries, sometimes there are Texas Plums and fall has persimmons. You are welcome to pick these. When picking any of the fruit be cognizant of your surroundings. You are in nature and there are bugs, spiders and snakes.
Law of the Land
- Treat others how you want to be treated.
- Applicable county, state and federal laws apply inside the campground.
- Violence or the threat of violence will not be tolerated.
- Behavior that threatens the rights, comfort, or convenience of others on or around the campground will not be tolerated.
- The possession, sale or manufacture of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia on the RV Site or anywhere else on the property is strictly prohibited.
- The storage of hazardous materials on the RV Site or on the property is strictly prohibited.
Management reserves the right to remove you, or have you removed from the campground. If you are removed for violating our policies you will NOT be entitled to a refund.
